How to Start Your Day!
How to Start Your Day!
The
first few minutes of your morning are the most important of your day and can
set the tone for positivity and productivity. You can start your day by hitting the snooze
button, dragging yourself out of bed at the last minute, rushing to get ready,
and then running out the door with a doughnut in one hand and your briefcase in
the other. Or, you can start your day with good morning habits. I recommend the
latter.
Plan the night
before:
Make a
plan what you want to next day, this will help you to complete your work on
time and staying focused on your work. Maintain a To- Do list for next day. Put
down just 1-3 of the most important things you want to get done.
Wake up Early:
Early
risers reap many benefits, they are able to go through morning routine calmly.
A quit morning hours are great time to get things done. You can get an early start on your goals, such as getting daily exercise
or tackling a 30-day challenge.
Meditate:
Don't skip over this one just because it sounds
boring or like you don't have time for it. Meditation is only as strict, long,
short, boring, or annoying as you make it. A "successful" meditation
in an entire lifetime might be only a few seconds. However, sitting in a
comfortable position and focusing on clearing your mind--even if it's for less
than a minute--can help your mental clarity and spiritual well-being and set
the stage for the day.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast:
Breakfast in the most important meal of the day. A healthy
breakfast consists of lean protein, whole grains, and healthy fats.
Set
and affirm your goals for the day:
Set some
feasible goals for the day, but limit them to three. This might include packing
your lunch instead of eating out to save money, committing to that noon yoga
class, or scheduling the doctor's appointment you've been putting off.
